It is perhaps of my own opinion, but I fear it will be a flop of a truck. WHile it is close, it isnt accurate. It really needed to be a solid axle design and it doesnt come out of the box with lipos or brushless either. The electronics sit low and are not waterproof. Plastic drive yokes from HPI are notriously BAD in design and that little rear one looks like a bitch to work on. 12th scale is dead.... always will remain such. HPI should have came out with a second fersion of their Blitz to make something competetive with all the other 1/10th scale.

However, I am keeping an open mind, and perhaps this truck will be a lot of fun to play with, so until I see one, I will reserve final judgement :)

and yea my cup racer has plastic yokes....and it sux...the electronics...?
maybe the waterproof 380 from the traxxas 1/16 will fit?
and i thought it was a solid axle....damn...might just be a shelf queen

    finally

this is just what the doctor ordered....scale,and its not a crawler
i am aware of alot of custom scale builds, thate are not crawlers(trail rigs)
but nothing easily available...rtr,or kits...maybe some obscure Japanese or Australian company.
point is its scale, its not a crawler, and what hobby shop doesn't carry hpi
i really hope this has many option parts....
from what i understand the electronics suck, the firebolt motor has lots of complaints...no the rear axle is not solid, wich is good and bad...the bad is it is not scale...but im sure there will be options...the good is a solid axle would not perform great on the track at high speeds and cornering
so i guess it really depends on what you want to do with the truck...race,bash,or have a nice looker...i wanna do all of the above.
